Job Description

The Business Planning and Operations Manager drives the operating rhythm portfolio governance decision quality analytics and team engagement for Digital Issuer Solutions. You will own the OKR and KPI framework orchestrate the end to end product technology roadmap support budgeting forecasting and scenario planning lead employee engagement programs and spearhead high impact ad hoc strategic projects that accelerate Digital priorities

OKRs KPIs and Business Performance:

  • Design implement and maintain the quarterly and annual OKR framework facilitate objective setting alignment and retrospective learning across product lines
  • Define and instrument portfolio and product KPIs growth adoption reliability Build standard definitions and guardrails
  • Establish alerting and escalation mechanisms to keep goals on track run variance analyses and root cause reviews

End to End Roadmap and Portfolio Governance:

  • Run and Support the portfolio operating cadence support intake prioritization capacity velocity planning run commercialization roadmap review meetings product delivery forum prep manage release milestones and online Digital roadmap
  • Sure roadmap alignment to strategy and customer commitments
  • Maintain a single source of truth for the multi quarter roadmap and outcomes manage tradeoffs scenario plans and change controls

Budgeting Forecasting and Investment Planning:

  • Co own the annual operating plan AOP rolling forecasts and quarterly outlooks in partnership with Finance and Product
  • Model business cases for new initiatives re pricing upsell and scale economics track benefit realization against approved cases
  • Drive portfolio level cost ROI and unit economics transparency recommend resource reallocations to maximize value

Strategy Analytics and Executive Reporting:

  • Deliver decision ready analysis for pricing commercialization adoption levers and product performance synthesize insights into concise narratives
  • Prepare executive materials related to portfolio operations Product Delivery Forum with clear storylines visuals and actions
  • Stand up and continuously improve the business planning calendar and playbooks roadmap gates quarterly close

Employee Engagement Culture and Team Operating Rhythm:

  • Lead the team engagement agenda quarterly pulse surveys action plans and follow through to improve clarity inclusion and performance
  • Build a consistent communications cadence that reinforces strategy priorities and wins
  • Design and run recognition programs linked to OKRs and portfolio outcomes
  • Design new team member onboarding process
  • Facilitate offsites retrospectives site engagement activities and cross team forums to strengthen collaboration decision speed and psychological safety
  • Ad Hoc Strategic Projects for Digital
  • Serve as a flexible strategic operator for time bound high priority Digital initiatives stand up lightweight workstreams clarify scope success metrics and drive to outcomes

Typical projects may include:

  • Market scans for new product bets or regional expansion
  • Partnership and vendor evaluations
  • AI automation opportunity assessments cost to serve reduction and productivity pilots
  • Portfolio simplification sunsetting analyses
  • Client critical escalations

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Adaptable to a variety of different work and projects
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with well-structured analyses and attention to detail
  • Curious and inquisitive with a strong desire to get beyond the what and into the why
  • Proactive and effective communicator experienced in presenting information to all levels
  • Experience in highly matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly adept in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguous environments
  • Collaborative spirit and a knack for understanding stakeholder needs
  • Excellent organization prioritization and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills attention to detail and critical thinking
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 131,600.00 to 190,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
