Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in the production of small propane cylinders, is seeking a Production Lead to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Lead

Location: Chilton, WI

Pay Range: $25.2 - $28

Shift: 3rd shift 

What's the Job?

• Assist in developing, training, and evaluating employees within the production area
• Support achievement of safety, quality, and production goals
• Expedite work orders and ensure accurate production reporting
• Maximize resource utilization while reducing scrap and rework
• Act on behalf of the supervisor in their absence and lead daily shift activities

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of machine repair and safety protocols
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and dial calipers
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
