- Supervise hourly production employees across multiple departments; provide feedback, counsel, and performance evaluations per company policy.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve personnel issues, performance deficiencies, and process bottlenecks.
- Enforce all plant policies; communicate initiatives, ensure compliance with company rules, safety, and codes of conduct.
- Approve timesheets, maintain accurate attendance records, and ensure shift‑change and other administrative tasks are completed.
- Provide support to plant‑floor employees, assist with troubleshooting production issues, and report on shift production summaries.
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations, or related field.
- Proven experience supervising hourly production employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, safety (OSHA), and workflow optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with management, staff, and cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and manage shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and performance management skills.
- Self‑directed, able to work with limited supervision, especially during off shifts.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety, quality, attendance, and procedural compliance.
- Physical ability to perform required tasks: lifting up to 60 lbs, frequent standing/walking, as needed.
- Willingness to work night shift and maintain consistent attendance.
What's in it for you?
- Annual base salary range: starting at $70,000
- Bonus target range: 10-20%
- Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability
- A company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth
- Time off with pay
- 401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching
- Paid parental leave
