- Lead the production team to meet or exceed operational goals and customer expectations.
- Ensure quality control, food safety, and GMP/HAACP and OSHA compliance.
- Communicate across departments to streamline production and resolve issues.
- Monitor schedules to meet customer deadlines and reduce overtime.
- Oversee training and development of supervisory staff and new hires.
- Address employee performance, absences, and safety incidents.
- Take ownership of departmental efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental impact through proper planning and proactive leadership.
- Report mechanical issues and enforce workplace safetyculture.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or food production leadership role
- Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and lead by example
- Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Familiarity with GMP and HAACP standards
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and work in refrigerated environments for extended periods
- Computer aptitude
- HS/GED or equivalent required; college degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain is a plus
