• Lead the production team to meet or exceed operational goals and customer expectations.
• Ensure quality control, food safety, and GMP/HAACP and OSHA compliance.
• Communicate across departments to streamline production and resolve issues.
• Monitor schedules to meet customer deadlines and reduce overtime.
• Oversee training and development of supervisory staff and new hires.
• Address employee performance, absences, and safety incidents.
• Take ownership of departmental efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental impact through proper planning and proactive leadership.
• Report mechanical issues and enforce workplace safetyculture.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or food production leadership role
• Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and lead by example
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Familiarity with GMP and HAACP standards
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and work in refrigerated environments for extended periods
• Computer aptitude
• HS/GED or equivalent required; college degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain is a plus
