Travel PossibleJob Summary:The Production Supervisor for M1 Services at CFT North Island HSM-41 is responsible for overseeingdaily production activities, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining compliance with safety andquality standards. This role leads a team of production personnel, coordinates resources, and monitorsprogress to meet program goals. The Production Supervisor collaborates with other departments toensure smooth workflow, drive continuous improvement, and deliver high-quality support to HSM-41operations.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Assists Deputy Program Manager in achieving cost, schedule, and performance goals of the NASNorth Island Ca contract IAW the PWS, company policy, and applicable government regulatoryguidance.* Functions as a Maintenance Supervisor, Quality & Safety Supervisor, and by shift as assigned.Manages the aircraft, aircraft systems and weapon systems required. Serves as the alternateinterface and point of contact with Government as needed.* Assists Deputy Program Manager by overseeing site contractor personnel job performancesupporting operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing maintenance andadministrative support effort.* Plans, organizes, and directs operations to meet PWS requirements.* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamlineworkflow processes.* Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism.* Ensures 100% safe, on time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions inaccordance with the PWS.* Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, andcompany policies relating to fleet management/operations.* Ensures sufficient manpower, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWSrequirements.* Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.* Apply Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, andtermination of employees.* Ensure employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobsPage 2of 2Qualifications and Experience:* High School graduate or equivalent required.* 15 years of aircraft maintenance experience, 5 years in a managerial/supervisory position ofan operation with high performance multi-type/model/series aircraft managing a high tempo operation.* Demonstrated ability to manage large and diverse teams and effectively provide guidance,direction, and supervision of contracted effort such as quality control and compliance.* Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2.* Demonstrated experience with CBA and management of a unionized workforce.* Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.* Must possess competent computer skills.* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.* Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps withinproximity of running equipment and aircraft.* Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines whilemaintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.Working Conditions:* The role is based in a helicopter flightline environment, which includes exposure to loud noise, aircraftoperations, and moving vehicles. The production area may involve working around helicopters and otheraviation equipment.* Standard full-time hours, with potential for extended hours, shift work, or on-call duties to meet operationalneeds or respond to mission requirements.* The position may require standing, walking, as well as working in confined or elevated spaces. Must becomfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with exposure to outdoor elements andfluctuating weather conditions.* Strict adherence to flightline safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), includinghearing protection, high-visibility vests, and other required safety gear, is mandatory at all times.M1 Support Services, headquartered in Denton, Texas provides a variety of professional, technical, and maintenanceservices to the Department of Defense and government agencies.M1 Support Services is an equal opportunity employer.
