Summary

A Production Team Lead job, on Day Shift in Flower Mound Texas, is available at MI Windows and Doors. In this role, you'll leverage your prior manufacturing experience to oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to quality standards, and directly support your team members. This hands-on position requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to use measuring tools.

The hourly compensation range is between $25.50- $29.50, depending on experience.Your shift starts at 6:00 .

Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental activities per standard operating procedures
  • Work with Shift Supervisor in the assignment and supervision of personnel to always achieve an efficient operation
  • Assist the Supervisor in following up with all manufacturing orders that are followed through properly to completion and are filled out properly before turning in
  • Assists personnel in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments to perform work according to standard operating procedures
  • Provide orderly and efficient changeover to the next shift
  • Demonstrate Milgard’s Core Values in all business interactions
  • Support training and development of team members
  • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment

    • Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience mentoring and motivating a team of individuals 
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Compute basic math equations and accurately read a tape measure 
  • High level of Mechanical Aptitude 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) 
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
