Advertised Job Summary:The College of Information and Communications (CIC) invites applications for a nine-month professional-track faculty member to begin August 16, 2026. We are growing our course offerings in the areas of Corporate Communication and Leadership. As such, we seek applicants who can teach and develop classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Sample courses of interest include but are not limited to:
- Corporate Communication
- Organizational Communication
- Leadership and Change Communication
- Corporate Social Responsibility Communication
- Corporate Identity and Branding Communication
- Corporate Reputation Communication
- Employee Communication
- Communication Training & Consulting
- Instructional Communication, Training, & Development
- Teaching
- Participate in shared governance and service activities
- Master’s degree or higher in mass communications, journalism or a related field by the start date of employment.
- Candidate must have a minimum of two years of professional experience in mass communications, journalism or a related field.
- Teaching experience is not required, but desired.
