Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the management of the advising services for undergraduate affairs in the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy (COSSPP).
• Work alongside the Asst. Directors for Undergraduate Programs and will fall under the direct supervision of the Asst. Academic Dean.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve advising services. In addition to guiding advising processes, this position will directly advise special populations of students, including readmits and distance learning.
• Responsible for developing COSSPP advising staff and providing support to the Academic Affairs leadership team.
• Assists in managing the coordination of advising activities and services
• Assists in formulating and implementing academic advising services across COSSPP undergraduate programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years experience related to academic and/or student services or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years in the same.

Anticipated Salary Range

Starting in the high $40,000's commensurate with education and experience.
