Project Billing Accountant at System One

Job Title: Project Billing Accountant Location: Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $52-55k pending experience Title: Project Billing Accountant SUMMARY: The Project Billing Accountant is responsible for providing billing support to assigned functional areas of the Project Billing Department for the Company. This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA and reports to the Corporate Billing Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create Customer Projects containing all pertinent billing information Issue invoices to customers on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule Enter invoicing details into customer invoicing web sites if required Ensure that submitted information is accurate and in compliance with company accounting standards Work with operations team to finalize invoices for submittal to client Investigate and resolve billing issues to ensure projects are billed within the appropriate time frame SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Participate in collection efforts as needed and assigned by Manager Other duties assigned as needed REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years’ experience; project accounting experience preferred Strong Problem Solving Skills Exceptional Attention to Detail and an eye for spotting errors and discrepancies Ability to prioritize work Ability to learn new software programs Proficient with Excel Strong Communication – written and verbal - and customer service skills with the ability to see issues through to resolution System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
