Job Description

An established, boutique residential interior design firm in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking an experienced Project Expeditor to work directly with the Controller to help move design projects along.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administrative support such as emailing, calling vendors, setting up binders, filing, and handling other general clerical tasks.
  • Data entry of written product and pricing information to be typed into Design Manager.
  • Important documentation management includes receiving and proofing order acknowledgement, processing all purchase orders, and keeping track of items received at our warehouse.
  • Tracking for all client orders and communication with warehouse and vendors

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum education requirement: Associate Degree
  • Computer Proficiency: Word, Excel, and Design Manager Software (preferred if possible). Must have accurate and speedy typing skills.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential for communication internally and externally. You must be comfortable answering phones if needed.
  • Attention to detail: Accuracy in data entry and proof-reading acknowledgements
  • Strong Organizational skills including multi-tasking and prioritizing workload.
  • Ability to think critically and apply practical solutions
  • Ability to understand and work with basic financial information
  • Self-starter
  • At times, you may need to open packages and lift up to 35lbs
  • Must have own vehicle
