A Snapshot of Your Day
The Project Lead Engineer handles the complete technicalscope for supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshoreprojects. This includes gas turbine-driven generators/compressors and electricmotor-driven compressor trains, typically with extended plant scope (coolers,scrubbers, anti-surge valves, etc.)
The selected candidate will lead global technical projectteams of multi-discipline engineers, designers and suppliers, and will be theprimary contact for technical interactions with the Customer, working incollaboration with the project manager.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage all technical aspects of the projectwith internal and external clients, to deliver the equipment per contractualrequirements.
- Develop and monitor the engineering scheduleand supervise the engineering budget.
- Provide guidance to the team on designdecisions, such as overall system control philosophies and main equipmentspecification.
- Provide engineering support during proposal,manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning and operation.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering relatedfield (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or Petroleum is preferred).
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience indesign, packaging, or operation of rotating equipment or auxiliary systems forrotating equipment; Candidates with more years of experience may be eligiblefor a more senior level position.
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Have the ability to identify problem areas andtake initiative to resolve issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skillsare essential!
- Ability to travel (Domestic or International)for meetings and site visits as the need arises
