Salary: Competitive Salary ($100,000 - $140,000 DOE), 100% Paid Benefits, 401k match etc.
Requirements: 5+ Years' Project Management experience in concrete or structural construction.
Position Overview
The Project Manager - Commercial Construction will oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects from planning through execution.
- Negotiate contracts and change orders with subcontractors and clients.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and resource allocation.
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety management practices and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage site operations, ensuring the construction site runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain accurate construction documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent skills in contract negotiation and change order management.
- Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
