We are looking for an experienced Concrete Project Manager to lead our growing concrete division in Gainesville. What You'll Do:
Oversee all aspects of Scherer's concrete division - from estimating and procurement to field execution and project closeout.
Lead and support field teams, including superintendents and foreman, to deliver safe, high-quality work.
Prepare concrete estimates, budgets, and proposals.
Manage submittals, material orders, and vendor relationships.
Ensure all work meets project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor job progress, costs, and schedules to keep projects on track and within budget.
Work closely with clients, engineers, and other project managers to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency within the concrete division.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 7 years of experience in concrete construction management or related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing concrete crews and projects.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office tools.
A self-starter who takes ownership and works well as part of a collaborative team.
