Project Manager for INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION/MILLWRIGHT-WELDING-PIPEFITTING

SALARY: $80 - $100K - DIRECT HIRE

• P&L financial responsibility for assigned projects.
• Estimating labor, materials AND EQUIPMENT
• Developing RFQ’s for materials or outsourced needs
• Coordinate internal and external resources for the following activities:
• Project drawings and instruction packages
• • Materials procurement
  • Pre-fabrication
  • Material and fabrication deliveries to sites
  • Equipment scheduling and site mob / demob
  • Inspection & testing resources & other quality checks
• Reinforce safety and HR policies with field employees.
• Project close out records.

• IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
• Strong background in industrial construction practices including material handling, welding, pipe fitting and equipment setting.
  2. Working knowledge of welding codes and standards: ASME, B31.1, B31.3, API-650.
  3. Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards
  4. Good understanding of welding quality requirements
  5. Good understanding of shop fabrication practices
  6. Good understanding of crane, rigging & hoisting practices.
  7. Well organized and able to manage various phases of multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Good working knowledge of typical Microsoft products, spreadsheets, modeling software and typical electronic records filing practices.
  9. Well versed in plate, piping, fittings, valve material grades and specifications.
  10. Familiar with Minnesota high pressure piping & steam requirements
