Job Title: Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Plant Construction
Job Location: Knoxville, TN
Salary: $125K-200K
Requirements: 10+ years in water/wastewater plant construction.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of water and wastewater plant construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction management, as well as expertise in water treatment processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water/wastewater treatment plant construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, including updates on progress, budget status, and risk management.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure that all project documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably in the water/wastewater sector.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and wastewater management systems.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and construction best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
