Position Summary:
Project Specialists works in conjunction with the team and leadership to analyze data and trends to determine root cause
of process failures and areas of opportunities to increase revenue. Additionally, responsible for assisting with the
implementation of projects, collaborating with team members in planning, implementing, evaluating projects developing
measurable project goals and objectives and monitoring progress toward achievement. They will assist in project
planning, monitoring project progression and meeting goals as defined by leadership.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
Identifies areas of process improvement opportunities in retail locations and processes
Work collaboratively with the Retail Manager and team to maximize productivity and profitability
Collaborates with leadership to identify areas of opportunity and growth for retail as well as improve operational
processes to support this growth as it integrates into AdaptHealth.
Works to improve overall operational efficiency for better service to customers, efficient and cost-effective
processes for AdaptHealth,
Conduct training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Responsible for the oversight of marketing materials, promotions, and other initiatives to drive traffic in-store.
Knowledge of and ability to develop and communicate policies, standards, and procedures to support retail
business.
Responsible for developing new market initiatives and assessing new markets with thorough financial studies and
business opportunity proposals.
Knows how to open a new retail location including location selection, building selection, budgets, ROI, marketing,
merchandising, staffing, and goal achievement.
Develops and implements operational processes to support retail growth in multiple locations.
Identifies and implements strategies to achieve all financial goals.
Works within the organization to support enhanced patient care initiatives and retail growth from existing
customers and employees.
Collaborates with project teams, contributing to the entire project lifecycle
Organize and monitor schedules to ensure deadlines are met coordinate efforts within the team and with outside
consultants efficiently
Monitors projects progress toward achieving goals and objectives and document key decisions
Analyze processes targeted by senior management and identify opportunities for improvement
Coordinate and support process improvements and enhancement requests
Analysis of large amounts of data to identify trends, develop reports and communication plan to clearly
communicate results to leadership as needed
Creates project management calendars for tracking and monitoring goals and objectives
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, documenting and following up on actions and decisions.
Preparing project materials as needed and providing administrative support as needed
Developing strategies to ensure an effective and efficient execution of projects
Adhere to frameworks and maintain documentation appropriately
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Assume responsibility for independent completion of tasks and small projects
Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house).

Job Description
Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional
development classes).
Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques.
Design prepare and order educational aids and materials.
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs (Key
Performance Indicators).
Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company
Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA
Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required
Maintains compliant with AdaptHealths Compliance Program
Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate Degree from an accredited college is required; Bachelors degree preferred
Two (2) years work related in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing,
call center or management regardless of industry is required.
Exact job experience is project management for a Medicare certified HME environment that routinely bills
insurance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Mental alertness and ability to analyze large amounts of data and report in a clear and concise manner
Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use
Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall work levels fluctuate in a fast-paced work environment
Mental ability to succeed in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment
Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen
Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
May be exposed to angry or irate customers or patients
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (2) year work related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry.
- Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience.
- Exact job experience is considered any of the above tasks in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment that routinely bills insurance.
