Direct Counsel is seeking a Projects & Energy Associate to join the finance group of a leading AmLaw 100 firm. This role offers the opportunity to focus on complex energy and infrastructure projects with a strong emphasis on FERC regulatory work. With the ability to join from any U.S. office, this is a chance to work on cutting-edge matters shaping the energy landscape.

What We’re Looking For:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction where you apply

  • Minimum 3 years of FERC experience; AmLaw 100 experience strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary range: $260,000 – $390,000, depending on location and experience

  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
