Mobile Home Park Manager
Location: On-site in Ontario, CA
Compensation: Approximately 70,000 base salary, plus potential rent credit
Schedule: Full time, on site
Reports to: Regional Supervisor
Supervises: Part-time Assistant Manager and Maintenance Technician
About the role
Seeking a Mobile Home Park Manager to lead day-to-day operations, financial performance, maintenance coordination, and resident relations for a 165-unit community. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong leadership, clear communication, and consistent policy enforcement.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily operations for a 165-unit community; supervise on-site staff
Maintain accurate resident files, leases, compliance documents, and work orders
Collect rents, record payments, manage delinquencies, and coordinate collections
Track operating expenses, assist with annual budgets, and implement cost controls
Conduct regular property and homesite inspections; drive resident compliance
Schedule maintenance, landscaping, and vendor work using a work order system
Source bids, manage service contracts, and oversee preventive/capital projects
Prepare weekly reports on occupancy, collections, maintenance, and community issues
Coordinate listings with Realtors to fill vacancies and support escrow documentation
Ensure adherence to community rules and local/state regulations
Lead resident communications, notices, newsletters, and engagement activities
Qualifications
Property management experience required; mobile home park or multifamily strongly preferred
Leadership experience supervising on-site staff
Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office
Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and written/verbal communication
Familiarity with building systems, maintenance coordination, and vendor management
Consistent, fair policy enforcement with residents and vendors
Preferred
Experience managing 100+ units
Collections and delinquency control experience
Knowledge of California landlord-tenant requirements and Fair Housing
Compliance
Background check and drug screen required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
