A Brief Overview: As a Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized psychiatric care to patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. Your expertise and commitment to improving the mental well-being of our patients are essential to our mission. What you will do: Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans. Providing evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care. Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach. Administering and managing psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations. Participating in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations for care. Educating and supporting patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management. Staying informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.
