Purchasing Agent at Gold Beach Lumber Yard, Inc

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for negotiation and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? Were looking for a Purchasing Agent to join our team and help ensure our stores are always stocked with the right products at the right time and at the best prices!

What Youll Do:

• Source, evaluate, and purchase inventory and supplies for multiple store locations
   
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate purchasing needs based on sales trends
   
• Work closely with store managers and department heads to identify product needs and opportunities
   
• Ensure accurate purchase orders and timely deliveries
   
• Track and analyze purchase data to improve cost efficiency and inventory accuracy

What Were Looking For:

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or Procurement Specialist (hardware or retail experience a plus)
   
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
   
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
   
• Proficiency in purchasing or inventory software (Epicor, QuickBooks, or similar)
• 
  
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel including using Pivot Tables
   
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
