• Identify, evaluate, and select suitable vendors based on criteria like price, quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
• Procurement: Review requisitions, solicit bids, and prepare purchase orders for goods and services.
• Inventory Monitoring: Track inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available without over-purchasing.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all orders, shipments, invoices, and vendor information.
• Collaboration: Work with departments such as inventory management, logistics and production control.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve issues related to deliveries, invoices and other vendor-related problems.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding procurement.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, price proposals, and supplier offerings.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with suppliers, internal departments, and other professionals.
