Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement process for our luxury custom home projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure projects meet budget and timeline requirements while achieving exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies for luxury custom home projects
Conduct cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and budget adherence
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms
Manage the supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of construction materials
Oversee vendor management to maintain strong relationships and quality assurance
Perform market research to identify new suppliers and materials that enhance project quality
Collaborate with project managers to align purchasing decisions with project timelines and specifications
Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement budgets effectively
Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the luxury home construction industry
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and vendor management
Experience with quality assurance and construction materials
Excellent project management and budgeting skills
Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry trends
Strong relationship management capabilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with luxury home design principles
