Quality Control Inspector at Manpower

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $21/hour

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Develop and direct testing procedures to ensure product quality.
• Perform inspections at various stages of manufacturing, including receipt of raw materials, in-process, and final inspection.
• Calibrate measuring and test equipment according to schedule and maintain calibration records.
• Verify dimensional conformance using inspection tools and create documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to improve quality procedures and processes.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality control systems or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, Microsoft Office, and Epicor.
• Ability to develop and execute product quality tests.
• Weld inspection experience and certifications such as ASQ or technical certifications are a plus.
