Our company, a leading global player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the set quality standards. You will be expected to develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, and conduct audits to ensure compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of quality control and assurance, root cause analysis, process improvement, and quality auditing. You will be working closely with various departments to ensure the quality of our manufacturing processes and products.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure product consistency and adherence to standards.
2. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
3. Utilize PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) to predict and mitigate potential risks in the manufacturing process.
4. Perform root cause analysis on product defects and failures, and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
5. Monitor and analyze quality performance data using Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
6. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations, and ensure company compliance.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
9. Train and guide staff on new quality control and assurance procedures and techniques.
10. Regularly report to management on quality issues and trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in a manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in PFMEA, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Root Cause Analysis, Quality System, SPC, Process Improvement, and Quality Auditing.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry quality standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficient with MS Office Suite and quality control software.
9. Certification in Quality Engineering or related field is a plus.
