DC Fabricators both engineers and fabricates/manufactures the equipment at this site. DC Fabricators has been supplying equipment to the United States Navy for over 55 years.

We are seeking a full time Quality Engineer to join our team! This is an on-site position reporting to our Florence, NJ location.
Essential Duties of the Quality Engineer:
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: B.S. in Engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering strongly desired.
Experience:
Some exposure to a heavy manufacturing environment is desirable.
Other Skills & Abilities:
This position requires knowledge of basic engineering principles and their application to industrial problems. Must have the ability to recognize quality problems in the pre-production stage and make recommendations for their elimination or solution. Also, must be able to work effectively with others in a project group environment.
Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills required. Must have a working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as WORD, Excel, and Outlook.

We are seeking a full time Quality Engineer to join our team! This is an on-site position reporting to our Florence, NJ location.
Essential Duties of the Quality Engineer:
- Review proposal work scope, drawings, and contract requirements for manufacturability. Review technical contract package for proper incorporation of technical requirements.
- Develop and evaluate alternate methods and make recommendations for improvements.
- Implement planned controls of in-process quality. Conduct evaluations of quality capabilities of operations, processes, and measuring equipment through process or machine capability studies and evaluate results.
- Identify causes of chronic manufacturing problems through statistical analysis providing corrective action improvement recommendations.
- Implement routine statistical methodology for in-process control and product acceptance.
- Implement the contract quality requirements through the incorporation of pass down requirements in purchase orders.
- Conduct sub-tier supplier quality system audits at the supplier's location.
- Manage and implement company's internal audit program.
- Analyze audit data and advise appropriate personnel when their performance departs from standards. Follow-up to ensure that effective corrective action has been taken.
- Evaluate and provide disposition of customer trouble records.
- Assist in the resolution of inspection problems related to process planning instructions.
- Assist with the timely disposition of material certifications and/or certificates of compliance.
- Assist with the timely preparation of history books and resolve technical issues associated with this documentation.
- Serve as the customer contact with respect to quality issues related to the orders to which the Quality Engineer is assigned.
