JobsRUs.com is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Technician in Ogdensburg, NY.
Pay Rate $20/hr +
Rotating shifts
The Quality Technician performs quality control testing processes in the quality lab; assuring accurate, timely results are obtained and communicated.
Duties include but are not limited too:
*Maintain Lab process control and capability data/charts, assuring they are up-to-date and respond to them according to approved procedures.
*Assure all lab written and computer records are maintained accurately.
*Follow the quality lab preventative maintenance and instrument/equipment calibrations programs.
*Proficient in preforming all raw material, in-process and finish product quality control test according to standard procedures.
*Perform Quality audits.
Job Qualifications:
Experience in laboratory testing
Working knowledge of basic algebra and chemistry
Basic statistics and SPC knowledge required
Mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills, including Lotus 123, DOS, and Windows, are required.
Good communication skills
Flexible work schedules, including weekends, overtime
