Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing Siemens and OEC C-Arm equipment to support a variety of surgical specialties. Perform a variety of radiographic procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality images that aid in surgical planning and execution. Ensure high-quality imaging to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless operations and patient care during procedures. Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Determine, prepare and set up medical supplies, instruments and equipment; explain x-ray procedures to patients; position patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required; report any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff. Assist with materials management to support efficient surgical operations. Serve as the X-Ray Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with all applicable radiation safety regulations and protocols.
