Job Title: Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) – Night Shift or Days Location: Shannon Medical Center – San Angelo, TX Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM &10 AM - 8 PM Overview Shannon Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join our Radiology Department in San Angelo, TX. This full-time night shift role OR Day shift, involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and OR/C-Arm, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Candidates will work under the supervision of Radiologists and have the opportunity to grow in a supportive hospital environment. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $50,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 Relocation Package: Available Comprehensive health, retirement, and wellness benefits Responsibilities Perform diagnostic x-ray exams, fluoroscopy, OR/C-Arm, and mobile imaging. Safely operate mobile and stationary x-ray equipment following ALARA principles. Assist with EKG, phlebotomy, vital signs, and related patient care tasks. Prepare procedure rooms, set up equipment, and maintain supply levels. Participate in rotating on-call coverage. Ensure quality imaging and patient safety under Radiologist supervision. Document procedures accurately and follow hospital protocols. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma required; Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology. Licensure/Certification: ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MRT License – Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License BLS – Basic Life Support Certification Experience: Prior hospital or radiology experience preferred. Key Skills Proficiency in diagnostic imaging and radiology equipment. Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards (ALARA). Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
