Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate Attorney (3–4 Years)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognized law firm with a leading real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle sophisticated real estate litigation matters within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in commercial foreclosure litigation, creditor’s rights, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes.

• Handle motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and other aspects of litigation.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and supporting documents with precision and proper New York citation formatting.

• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex real estate disputes.

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably with exposure to real estate or financial services litigation.

• Experience with commercial foreclosure litigation and creditor’s rights preferred; experience in related real estate litigation matters will also be considered.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Excellent academic credentials.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
The expected annual salary range is $260,000–$310,000, commensurate with experience.
