This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized finance and real estate practice that counsels clients through complex, high-value lending transactions. You’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced team that advises major institutional lenders and financial institutions on a broad range of commercial real estate finance matters.
Key Responsibilities:Represent lenders in the structuring, documentation, and negotiation of construction, bridge, and permanent mortgage loans
Draft and review loan agreements, mortgage documents, and other financing instruments
Conduct real estate and entity due diligence, including review of title, survey, organizational documents, and opinions
Coordinate closings and manage timelines across various transaction stages
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and third parties to drive deals to successful completion
4–6 years of experience at a national or regional law firm representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions
Strong background in drafting and negotiating lender-side mortgage loan documents
Ability to take ownership of transactions and manage workflow independently
Top-tier academic credentials
Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
Admission to and in good standing with the California or New York State Bar
The salary range for this position is $390,000 – $420,000, commensurate with experience and location.
