We are looking for a detail-oriented and approachable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring smooth front desk operations and providing excellent customer service. This position involves light administrative tasks, coordination for meetings, and support for various office activities.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate areas or personnel.
• Manage the check-in process for guests and maintain visitor logs.
• Coordinate meeting preparations, including setting up refreshments and materials as needed.
• Provide employees with requested supplies and maintain accurate records of items signed out.
• Handle occasional receipt filing and ensure proper documentation.
• Communicate with the porter for lunch pickups and bank deposit errands.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email, utilizing a multi-line phone system efficiently.
• Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area to create a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily administrative functions.• Proficiency in answering and managing multi-line phone systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
• Experience in data entry and email correspondence.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing files and schedules.
• Ability to schedule appointments and coordinate tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to build rapport with visitors and team members.
• Basic understanding of administrative procedures and office equipment.
