Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM) | $15 - $18 per hour
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role, preferably in a law firm
- Additional education or legal office experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
- Ability to learn legal software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability
Receptionist Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the firm's calendar, and coordinate meetings
- Maintain the reception area and client-facing spaces in a tidy, presentable condition
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization
- Provide support to attorneys and staff, including document preparation and copying
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive client information
