Im a proud graduate of Western Michigan University, a passionate golf enthusiast, and a huge fan of college basketball, football, and the NFL. Outside of work, I stay active in the community as a youth football coach, which fuels my love for teamwork, leadership, and mentoring.

Ive been with State Farm for 26 years and opened my own agency in 2015. Since then, weve built a laid-back, family-friendly office where flexibility and work-life balance are a priority. One of our most beloved team members is Izzy, my four-year-old golden doodle, who comes to work every day and brings plenty of joy and energy to the office.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Dave Smith - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
