You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, and answer phone calls, as well as attend to the needs of customers throughout their visits. As the receptionist/concierge for our busy salon, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, and answer phone calls, as well as attend to the needs of customers throughout their visits. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive at the clinic
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Assist with maintaining a clean and inviting environment
- Make sure new clients know what to bring with them for their pet's visit
- Be responsible for compiling the initial patient chart
- Post all transactions for the day
- Maintain the auto-reminder system so all clients with appointments for the following day are notified ahead of time
- Call all "no-shows" 10 minutes after the time they were to have arrived and get an update and/or reschedule
- Make sure new patients/clients are scheduled properly
- Keep schedule full and maximize production in office
- Manage lobby and ensure clients are following our rules
- Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
- Two or more years of customer service experience is preferred
- Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers and scheduling software
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
