Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:JOB SUMMARY:Under general supervision, the Recruiter for the College of Transdisciplinary Studies (COTS) develops and implements targeted recruitment strategies to attract and enroll adult learners, non-traditional students, and working professionals into COTS undergraduate and graduate programs. The Recruiter builds and sustains partnerships with employers, community organizations, and educational institutions to expand outreach and engagement opportunities. This position also monitors and reports on recruitment outcomes, including student enrollment and graduation trends, to inform data-driven strategies that support institutional goals.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:This position focuses specifically on recruiting adult learners and non-traditional students for the College of Transdisciplinary Studies. It requires strong relationship-building, communication, and data management skills to connect with community partners, working adults, and prospective students seeking flexible and career-relevant degree pathways.
· Develops, implements, and evaluates recruitment initiatives aimed at adult learners, transfer students, and non-traditional populations.· Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with employers, workforce agencies, community colleges, and professional organizations to promote COTS programs and identify potential student pipelines.· Plans and conducts presentations, information sessions, and recruitment events on- and off-campus, highlighting the unique flexibility and interdisciplinary nature of COTS programs.· Collaborates with university departments, including Admissions, Marketing, Financial Aid, and Career Pathways, to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated recruitment efforts.· Tracks and analyzes recruitment and enrollment data, including prospective student interest, applicant trends, and graduation outcomes, to support continuous improvement and institutional reporting.· Assists prospective students with application completion, program selection, and resource navigation, ensuring a supportive experience from inquiry through enrollment.· Creates and disseminates targeted marketing materials and digital communications to reach adult and working professionals.· Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual reports summarizing recruitment activity, employer partnerships, and student outcomes.· Participates in university and community events representing the College of Transdisciplinary Studies.· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:$22,743.33 - $28,997.77
Education:Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.).
Required Licensing/Certification:Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:
- Higher education recruitment strategies and adult learner engagement.

- Microsoft Office Suite and related data management systems.

One (1) to three (3) years of related experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working with adult learners, transfer students, or workforce education programs.
- Familiarity with data tracking and reporting tools (e.g., CRM systems, Banner, Excel, Power BI).
- Demonstrated success in building community and employer partnerships.
- Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.
- Routine office environment.
- Sitting or standing in one location much of the time.
- Some stooping, lifting or carrying objects light weight may be required.
- Use of computers and audiovisual equipment for presentations.
