Home Care Recruiter – Syracuse, NY (Full-Time, On-Site)

Job Summary
Join a leading home care agency as a Home Care Recruiter, responsible for hiring and onboarding certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs). This role is ideal for an energetic, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and hire qualified HHAs and PCAs.
- Guide applicants through the entire hiring process, ensuring compliance with agency and state requirements.
- Communicate proactively via calls, texts, and emails to maintain candidate engagement.
- Use an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate flow and documentation.
- Ensure all employee files (I-9s, medicals, etc.) are accurate and up to date.
- Organize and attend recruiting events such as school visits and job fairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet staffing needs and improve recruitment processes.
- Create job postings, conduct interviews, perform reference checks, and make hiring decisions.
- Manage social media accounts to promote job openings and company culture.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of recruiting experience (home care or healthcare preferred).
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently under time constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email platforms (Gmail, Outlook).
- Experience with recruiting systems (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) a plus.
- Must be fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
