Refrigeration Technician at Cromer Food Services

*Overview*We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration systems and mechanical knowledge. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems.*Responsibilities** Install, maintain, and repair small appliance refrigeration systems.* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration units and related components.* Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.* Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on refrigeration systems.* Utilize tools such as multimeter, soldering and brazing equipment for repairs and installations.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing tasks.*Skills** Strong mechanical knowledge with refrigeration systems; especially small appliances.* Experience as a service technician with a focus on field service operations.* Ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently using various tools including soldering and brazing equipment. Refrigerant recovery and charging.* Knowledge of maintenance practices related to refrigeration.* Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Hours are 6:30 AM until 3:00 PM. No night calls, no weekend work required. This is working on our premises in an air conditioned environment with morning and lunch breaks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
