Overview:

The Service Regional Director provides leadership to a service region. This individual will manage local Service Managers who direct all the field service activities in multiple branches. They will lead an organization of around 80-140 individuals.

Position will be based out of one of one of our branches in Denver, CO, Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a culture of Safety and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Sets and monitors financial and non-financial goals and objectives for the region.
  • Grow service footprint to other underserved markets within the region.
  • Promotes and fosters teamwork within the region and across functions.
  • Provides coaching to the service leadership team.
  • Forecasts current and future resource requirements.
  • Provides timely performance feedback, training, and coaching to develop to subordinate.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and strong, positive ongoing relationships with customers.
  • Resolves issues and problems that impact customer satisfaction.
  • Supports the sales organization to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Initiates and leads operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
  • Provides key input to budgetary expectations for operations of responsibility
  • Drives expansion into desirable verticals and new customer offerings
  • Provides technical assistance where required to service management
  • Embodies the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Manages managers and can effectively accomplish goals and objectives through subordinate managers.
  • Demonstrated ability leading a service and repair organization.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills, ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns, ability to forge strong working relationships with senior level customer representatives.
  • Demonstrated business and project management skills including financial reports and general knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current and emerging refrigeration and HVAC technologies.
  • Effective communicator with customer contacts.
  • Drivers license and good driving record.
  • Requires overnight travel.
  • Requires 50% travel.
