Join us in delivering exceptional quality assurance and leadership throughoutall phases of service contracts for Steam & Gas Turbines and Generators.You will engage with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure thattechnical and quality requirements are met. Lead improvement initiatives andconduct audits to enhance business performance while addressing non-conformanceissues. Imagine being at the forefront of resolving technical challenges anddriving continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will define and deliver process and quality standards for equipment service programs in the repair and refurbishment of Power Generation components.
- Interpret and assess functional and performance requirements to ensure compliance with specifications and assembly processes.
- Evaluate non-conformance issues using root cause analysis tools to develop effective corrective and preventive action plans.
- Provide technical advice and assess product or process controls to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, focusing on cost and cycle time improvements.
- Lead quality direction and training initiatives for Siemens Energy employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to foster a culture of quality.
What You Bring
- You possess a strong understanding of Quality Control, Assurance, and Management principles within the large rotating equipment industry.
- Your experience includes applying risk-based thinking and continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S and GD&T.
- You are familiar with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and CSA N299, enabling you to develop inspection and test plans effectively.
- You have strong internal auditing skills and the ability to report on project and contract status using dashboards and KPIs.
- You are willing to travel up to 60% to support customer site outages, with durations ranging from 2 to 12 weeks.
