We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our wholesale team. Sales Representative will oversee and grow our accounts across New York City, Brooklyn, and Long Island. This person will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of service to our wholesale partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong sales experience, and knowledge of the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing wholesale customers, ensuring their needs are met and orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Develop new business by prospecting restaurants, hotels, cafés, retailers, and specialty food stores
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to accounts across NYC, Brooklyn, and Long Island
  • Educate customers on our bread and pastry offerings, seasonal specials, and new product launches
  • Work closely with the production and delivery teams to coordinate orders and resolve any service issues promptly
  • Monitor customer feedback and report insights to leadership to improve product offerings and service
  • Track sales goals and meet or exceed monthly targets
  • Attend food shows, industry events, and tastings as needed to represent the brand
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems regularly

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in wholesale food, bakery, or hospitality industries
  • Strong knowledge of the NYC, Brooklyn, and Long Island markets
  • Passion for artisanal food, bread, and pastries
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage a large territory efficiently
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and conduct product tastings and presentations

Preferred:

  • Experience working with high-end restaurants, hotels, or specialty food retailers
  • Culinary background or formal training in food and beverage

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary plus commission
