Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Manager to oversee biomedical equipment operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of biomedical technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing equipment performance, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
The successful Regional Service Manager must possess a strong combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and interpersonal abilities. They will be able to manage teams, troubleshoot problems, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel. Must also have experience servicing stretchers, beds, cots (Stryker/Ferno EMS Stretchers/Gurneys.
Ex-Military is a plus but not required. A B.S. degree from an accredited school in Electronics/Biomedical Engineering, or DoD certification or equivalent experience.Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in biomedical engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications (Preferred): CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) or CHTM (Certified Healthcare Technology Manager).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of medical equipment, diagnostic tools, and regulatory requirements.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
