Location: Pelion Middle School Pelion, SC
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
Position Type: Part-Time (with opportunity for Full-Time)

Position Summary


MAiken Bright Futures is seeking an Experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dedicated team at Pelion Middle School. Under the supervision of a BCBA, RBTs deliver school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to students with autism and related developmental differences. This role is ideal for an experienced professional passionate about helping students achieve meaningful progress in an educational environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical care.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment and behavior-reduction plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
  
  
• Provide one-on-one and small-group direct therapy to students within the school setting.
  
  
• Accurately collect and record data on student behavior and skill acquisition using electronic systems.
  
  
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with BCBAs, teachers, and school staff.
  
  
• Participate in supervision sessions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  
  
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  
  
• Promote generalization of learned skills across environments, materials, and peer interactions.
  
  
• Report progress, behavioral changes, and any incidents promptly to the supervising BCBA.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
  
  
• Minimum of 6 months of experience providing ABA services in a school or clinical setting.
  
  
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, data collection, and reinforcement procedures.
  
  
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Reliable transportation to and from Pelion Middle School.
  
  
• Ability to maintain consistent weekday hours (MondayFriday, 8:00 AM3:00 PM).
  
  
• Must pass a background check and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
