Clinical Nurse RN – Duke University Hospital 7300 Cardiology Stepdown Unit Duke University Health System- Duke University Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurs e or a NEW GRAD who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. Department Profile: The 7300 Cardiology Stepdown Unit at Duke University Hospital is comprised of 31 beds. Cardiology Step Down provides care for cardiology medicine patients with a range of diagnoses. The patient population includes but is not limited to the care of acute coronary syndrome, post cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, dysrhythmias, heart failure, heart transplant workups and congenital heart disease. These patients require high acuity care and many come directly from the ICU, post procedures or outside hospitals requiring an increased level of care. Many times, these patients encompass a multi-system involvement which can include but is not limed to pulmonary, renal, endocrine and neurology.
