The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Manchester




The role you'll contribute: Assist in managing the clinical rehabilitation team with positive influence and by example while providing speech, physical, or occupational therapy in the outpatient rehabilitation setting. Interviews and selects clinical staff, provides coaching, and performs developmental evaluations and mentoring. Engages in rounding with employees' physicians and patients.




The value you'll bring to the team:




  • Assists in daily operations, including active involvement in clinical and service rounding, develops and delivers clinical content at staff meetings, conducts staff meetings, completes management reports and Investigates, responds to complaints.
  • Serves as a clinical resource for physicians, patients, and staff, escalating issues as appropriate to their leader as appropriate
  • Performs all duties of a Therapist as per the associated Therapist job description based on license
  • Develops and participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities, supporting quality standards and initiatives set by the department
  • Coordinates regular chart audits and reviews for accurate and timely completion for the assigned area/team, including input of PI data as required, and educates the clinical team, coaching individuals to support regulatory and content compliance with clinical documentation.




Qualifications


The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:




  • 2 Years Physical Therapy Experience
  • Associates Degree at minimum preferred
  • Willing to travel across region to PT sites regularly
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
