Job Description
A company is looking for a Remote ICS Batch Engineer to support the migration of legacy CA DADS Plus environments to IBM CICS Batch Application Control.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the migration of CA DADS Plus control files to CICS Batch Application Control (CBAC) for z/OSCreate CBAC File Maintenance Utility (FMU) commands and develop JCL for control file managementConduct validation and testing of CBAC control files and collaborate with application teams for production integrationRequired QualificationsProven experience in mainframe batch and CICS environmentsStrong skills in JCL, TSO/ISPF, and REXX scriptingHands-on experience with CICS Transaction Server and batch application operationsPrior experience with migrating or replacing CA DADS Plus or other legacy mainframe tools is preferredKnowledge of CICS Batch Application Control (CBAC) setup and configuration
