Rental Sales Representative at KMC EQUIPMENT

KMC EQUIPMENT IS SEEKING an experienced Equipment Rental Sales Representative to join our team! The Rental Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new customer accounts, helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues. The Rental Sales Representative should be an ambitious self-starter who is always striving to meet or exceed the rental goals given. This position requires continual attention to detail, time management and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide information about the products and services we provide
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns, promote our new lines of equipment.
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Manage and control travel expenses
• Develop sales and marketing strategies for a specific local territory; including but not limited to updating web site listings etc
• Maintain a weekly call sheet log

​Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of sales experience of Rental Industry preferred
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask, be able to problem solve
• Positive and professional demeanor a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills definitely a plus

Skills and Abilities :

• College Degree Preferred or substitute with experience
• Ability to be self-motivated and willing to go above and beyond for our valued customers
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
