The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is looking for a Research Fellow. Research Fellows serve temporary appointments, and work under the supervision of a professional mentor who is responsible for the Fellow’s fiscal and intellectual activities. The purpose of the Research Fellowship is to gain understanding and advanced knowledge research methods and application of the theoretical knowledge from academic training, evaluate strengths and identification of limitations, development and refinement of research skills consistent with the particular scope of practice. Essential Functions Perform and conduct duties and responsibilities required by professional mentor in accordance with all institutional and federal regulations. Engage in appropriate training and professional development opportunities. Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
