We are currently seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for responding to daily service calls in your assigned area while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
- Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Replacing and upgrading electrical services, equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Service technicians are provided with fully stocked service vehicles.
- Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation, and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation
- Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices
- Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems and device replacements in residential homes as well as commercial properties
Qualifications:
- Completed electrician apprenticeship or 3-4 years of electrical experience
- Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
