Our advanced monitoring and service platform keeps solar and battery systems running at peak performance—so homeowners can enjoy clean, dependable energy without the hassle. We’re expanding our Texas field team and seeking a Residential Solar Service Helper to support technicians with solar PV and battery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities- Assist lead technicians in servicing and troubleshooting solar PV systems, inverters, battery backups, and generators.
- Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment safely at job sites.
- Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, including wire pulling, conduit runs, and mounting.
- Support system inspections, equipment testing, and replacement of components.
- Document site conditions and assist with photo and service reporting.
- Follow safety protocols, including PPE and ladder use procedures.
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers.
- Travel within Texas for service calls and assist with overtime or emergency work as needed.
Requirements
- Must live in Houston, TX, or surrounding areas.
- Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and electrical safety.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in solar installation, electrical work, or construction preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on roofs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Active apprentice license through TDLR.
