Restaurant Manager at Anis Cafe and Bistro

Anis Café and Bistro is a casual, upscale French bistro in Buckhead.  We are looking for an experienced full-time manager.  Candidates must be quick and willing to be hands-on with the floor staff to keep the restaurant running smoothly.  Wine knowledge is helpful.  (Ability to speak French is a bonus, but not a requirement.)  Schedule is somewhat flexible, but candidates must be available weekends (including Sundays), lunches, and holidays. 

Job responsibilities include:

• greeting and assisting customers as the maître d’ (Open Table experience preferred)
• taking reservations
• monitoring food presentation and ensuring service standards are met
• handling customer inquiries and complaints
• recruiting, training and supervising staff
• promoting and marketing the business, creating events to bring in new customers
• making improvements to the business and the development of the restaurant
• ordering supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
• ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 salary (based on experience); pay structure negotiable; additional bonuses and benefits available
